April 15th, 2011.
Today Samui was celebrating the last official day of Songkran, although some places like Chiang Mai and Pattaya carry on for 5-6 days.
Songkran is celebrated in Thailand during the month of April. The Thai New Year is on the 13th. The festival rounds up in Pattaya on the 19th with people from all over Thailand coming for the biggest party of the year.
Fisherman's Village has celebrated again its weekly Walking street, which is always great fun ( I actually truly believe that Fishermans Village Walking street is the best from all - and we have Nathon, Maenam and Lamai as a competitors - I've been to all and I think that ours is the best :-)
And I with my 2 boys went to Nikki Beach this late afternoon to celebrate kind of everything... end of Songkran, consistently great weather, end of the week, happy hour in Nikki's :-)......whatever.....I guess with this kind of sunset you would just celebrate the simple fact that you are here on this planet :-)
Have a great weekend, everyone! :-)
