Weather

Today we are having pretty good weather, no rain at the moment, a bit cloudy. The island is living normal life, trying to sort out all the problems brought with the last flood.

I've just thought I put a video here, which my hubby made last week on the 3rd November, but before you watch it - remember - it was made during the flood, now the island is getting back to normal, so the road where this video was made is totally dry now, don't get too scared! :-)

  6. Come in the evening - Fisherman Village is the best place for dinner. There are about 20 places to eat here, you can find a cuisine from all over the world - Thai,Italian,French,Japanese,Indian, Indonesian, fusion food, steak house etc...My choice in Bophut would be - Krua Bophut, Starfish and Coffee, Shack, Juzza Pizza, The Pier, ( oh, God, I can't stop - I love all of them and more), and if you want to try cheap but authentic - it's Oasis ( opposite Starfish and Coffee), but if you want something very very special - then "Orgasmic" restaurant 5 min from Fishermans Village, in direction towards Bangrak.
In Chaweng...I am sorry, I don't eat in Chaweng as I find the food too touristy there, but I heard that Ninja Crepes ( opposite Buri Rasa) was good, then Italian "Prego" - opposite to Amari in North Chaweng is quite good but expensive, and I make an exception and eat sometimes in Poppies as I really like it - also very special place, although not cheap. Otherwise - Zico - brazilian place - lots of meat and salad plus brazilian show, and then restaurants in hotels, but they are all not cheap.
