Sandalwood Villas

Went to Sandalwood Villas today. Amazing serene place! Unfortunately I couldn't go inside the villas as they we all fully booked, so we just took a few pictures outside... I've seen their villas on Sandalwood website - they look absolutely beautiful.
The resort is so high up on the hill, that I was really happy we have 4/4 truck, ... I am not sure that normal city car would've made it up there... But the views are breathtaking and going up there is totally worth it.  This place would better suit someone who just want to do nothing in a beautiful surroundings, relax, swim in a private pool, listen to the birds, enjoy the seaviews, be pampered in a spa, it's great for honeymoon or as a getaway place.... Here are a few pics...sorry, not too many this time, but hopefully you get an idea...

  1. Okay, I'm starting to feel a little stalked :-) My wife and I just spent a night from Friday to Saturday in the Malee villa (picture 7). We went home to our house in Plai Laem at around 16 on Saturday. I guess it's a small island after all!

But very true about the place - it is absolutely magnificent, the staff is wonderful, the employees in the spa really know their stuff. And it IS a steep ascent - I almost burned the clutch going up the steep road!

  2. Oh, sorry :-))))) Hope we didn't disturb you too much with our camera :-)
Samui IS a small place! :-)
